Shockingly Bad Transport Links
By far the worst aspect of Glasgow Airport is the transport links there’s no train link so the options are taxis or buses however the taxi service is awful and long queues are a common sight or an infrequent service bus stop to Paisley train station or a direct bus link to Glasgow both services are equally awful and subject to whatever traffic congestion there is on the M8 depending what time of day you arrive. I’ve personally spoke to international tourists arriving at the airport after long journeys and their initial impressions of Scotland are let me just say not so good. Getting to the airport is equally challenging and the airport actually charges people just to get dropped of I mean it’s outright robbery.. If my wife comes to collect me and the flight is late we pay to park and we pay just to be picked up.. As a frequent flyer I’ve visited some countries perceived to be 3rd world but I’ve never had any problems getting a taxi or have someone pick me up/drop me off. I think it time the airport was connected by rail and passengers have the convenience of direct links to the train stations.

Scottish Shambles
Arrived home to Glasgow about 9pm. Met by airport staff of plane who were more interested in their mobile phones than passengers and looked a shambles with poor uniform. Then walked a long route through tired and grey corridors to Border entry where electronic passport readers didn't work. Finally got to baggage area where screens hadn't been updated to direct you to the appropriate carousel and staff sat at their desk disinterested.
Welcome to Scotland, what a shambles. Go to Europe where staff are well presented, engage with customers, and better managed.
A day later I see the same shambles in Holyrood...what a place.
NCP do not answer phones, or web chat.
Our pre booking had not gone through so we were denied entry to car park one and sent to car park two. When we phoned and emailed to NCP to try to pay in advance for the stay they neither answered the phone, the web chat or an email from us. On return to Glasgow airport we tried to explain to the staff at car park one what had happened and instead of some assistance we were treated very rudely.

Upper Deck Lounge Glasgow Airport
Upper Deck Lounge. DISGRACE.
Gents Toilet has only one FILTHY cubicle for the whole lounge - Unusable if you care about your health.
Minimal food on offer.
No USB charging that I could find.
Dated seating. No recliners for long journey travellers.
Basin out of order in Ladies toilet.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Please don't bother flying into this…
Please don't bother flying into this dying airport.
As usual. And for the very last time I may add, we have just landed onto Glasgow airport. Well I say just. Landed 90 minutes ago and still no sign of the bags. No one available for an update. No help. No assistance. No good to man nor beast.
Please please try to stay well clear of this Horrible airport.

Good airport with good staff but parking a shambles
The airport has bene very good experience for our holiday and all of the staff have bene great. the only issue is the short stay car park were our taxi couldn't get out as all of the barriers stopped working . we were stuck there for 15 mins before we all backed up to find a barrier that worked. the parking at the airport is a shambles and a rip off especially your picking up family
Glasgow International with a regional attitude.
Bar near gate 33 shut at 1730. Flight delayed 90 mins!! Someone left a jacket I reported this to a member of Swissport Staff who totally ignored me. Jacket still on the bar table. So much for taking security seriously!!

The airport and staff are brand new
The airport and staff are brand new, basic place, at the end of the day you go there to get a plane!!
White taxis on the other hand, the only thing missing is a mask n a gun, what a bunch of rip off merchants, do not use!!! £30 for a five minute drive, is beyond a joke even taking into consideration petrol prices, drivers must be minted £££
I usually take the time to think of…
I usually take the time to think of something good to say and leave great ratings.
This is a very basic poor serviced airport with poor ways to communicate.
I did leave a nice review on the bird sound welcome (awesome to lover stress hormones you saw people literally take a deep breath)
Well that now gone too
A sin!
No wonder Glasgow has fewer flights than Edinburgh it would not be a good start for any tourist.
The taxes are awfully overbooked and there is no one to answer a question for onward travellers
What a welcome

Excessive taxi stand wait, poor communication
Took 70 minutes between 11-12:10AM for a taxi to pick us (incl. 3 children) up. Huge line, no one manning the taxi stand and very poor signage to advise of alternatives. Countless tourists around us were beside themselves, leaving a poor impression. Considering the airport only allows their own taxi service to operate at the main terminal it's shameful. The city/government shouldn't allow it.
Swissport at Glasgow Airport
Report: Swissport in Glasgow Airport
My case was totally ripped apart and my contents were lying over the carousel when my case arrived at Glasgow Airport from Dubrovnik, however, when I completed a report to Swissport I was assured that I would be contact by a member of staff to resolve the issue.
It is now one week later and no one has had the decency to contact me, they will not answer the phone or answer the emails. Think the Manager of Swissport at Glasgow Airport should stop pretending they provide a service to their customers. Do the right thing and contact your customers that have completed a report, I'm waiting
There shouldn't be any star
There shouldn't be any star. The worst airport I know. Very bad service. lack the information.... I believe that the purpose of the service in Glasgow Airport is to challenge that no one ever hits the target - Good job, I wish each of you to meet the same fate.

Long delays everywhere
Long delays everywhere, no stairs to get the passengers off the aircraft.Haphazard and wreckless baggage handling that took 1.5 hours. Passport control need 5x more stations. Overflowing facilities. This airport is NOT international standard, its a pathetic attempt by a bunch of incompetent mediocrities clearly out of their league.
I mean, its not as if they dont know how many people are coming through the place, and they still cant get it right. And to charge a fortune for parking there....its a disgrace of a place and an embarrassment to Scotland
